Vigneron Specialty Products offers the XpressFill line of bottle filling machines in two styles of bottle filling: by volume (volumetric) and by level.

Level fillers are for the Artisans who wish to fill their bottles to the height they choose, regardless of bottle variations. This is most popular in industries in which hand blown bottles are used, which typically have slight variations in bottle wall thicknesses, punt, diameter of the neck of the bottle, etc. The level of liquid to fill each bottle is easily set by moving the adjustable tray to the proper height. The fill level is controlled by a sensor which guides the machine to fill each bottle to the same level.

Additionally, the Artisan has the choice of filling one or more bottles at a time, making the process easy for one person to handle.

Volumetric fillers dispense a precise volume of product into the bottles, and are the choice for industries with strict regulations about bottle volumes. The variations in bottle volumes vary by only 2% in order to stay well within the regulations set by the TTB. Industries such as Distilled Spirits must comply with the strictest regulations, so the volumetric fillers are perfect for them. It is important that the bottles be consistent in size, wall thickness, punt, etc., in order for the levels to be the same amongst the bottles.
